On the brink of collapse, the last city of Bastion sends two rookie foot soldiers to break through the forces of Calamity, recover the shattered powers of the Great Defenders, and restore functionality to the city.
Slash through the horde, explore ancient ruins, and work together to harness ancient spells and save humanity.
Shards of Kalia is a multiplayer co-op platformer, where you and a friend will battle your way through fantasy inspired enemies and retrieve powerful chunks of ancient magic known as Shards. Collecting enough shards will unlock new spells, which not only provide more weapons to your arsenal, but also uncover new areas that were previously unreachable.
Shards of Kalia is currently in it's prototyping phase, and the build provides is the final prototype for the game. The recommended experience for players is two controllers, but one Keyboard input is acceptable as well.

Who are we?
We are Graduate students enrolled in Rochester Institute of Technology's Game Design and Development program. Shards of Kalia was created for a process based class revolving around software development practices. The goal for the class was to create a complete and polished prototype, and practice pitching, playtesting, and iterating. The roles on the project were as follows:
Charlie Humblias: Level Design & Audio
Billy Guzik: Production & Spells
Jayesh Singh: AI Programming & UI
Patrick Emmons: Animation and Player and Enemy implementation/integration
